Extra Info: I am second owner of this CD player and has had no more than 10 hours use since I’ve had it. Bought from forum member and presents in top condition. You all know the reputation of NAIM CD Players so will save the preaching! It comes with all original packaging remote and 2x tray pucks. Worth noting that the laser mech for these models (the highly regarded VAM 1202A) is readily available if ever needed. Due to highly regulated power supply and battleship build these CD players are bulletproof. Highly recommended at a bargain price. imageproxy.php?img=&key=a1aee8f6a7a517148e13e7bb0cbd335661567d8f71e551c81f32e7db032c8182

One of the best sounding cd players under 10k in my opinion.

2 x PCM1704K R2R conversion with PMD200 hdcd filter chip that's why, like the Linn CD12, but it uses 4  x 1704K's even better.

This is my old CD player which  was in excellent condition and as I bought it from Audio Genesis you can be assured of great support if you did need any. I owned it for a few years and hardly used it which was why I ended up selling it.

A bargain with bullet proof reliability, more organic sounding than digital which is why I love mine and won't part with it.

IMO hdcd sounds a lot better than DSD. Sadly there isn’t a huge amount of that format recorded.

More than you think, as many are not even marked HDCD you only know when the light comes on.

Apparently over 5000 here listed 15 pages, not including the non labeled HDCD, which is a few thousand also, which represents about 20% in my collection..

Forgot to say, just about all of "Reference Recordings" cd/downloads are done with HDCD encoding.

Only natural that they are, seeing "Professor Keith Johnson" is the owner of  "Reference Recordings" and the inventor of HDCD. At PCM 24/96 converted with R2R dac with HDCD, it doesn't get any better.

https://referencerecordings.com/genre/reference/ press Menu and get 4 pages of them.
