Most thought the day would never come, yet here I am, selling my beloved Rega Elicit-R.

I had the Brio, then the Elex-R, then finally, The Elicit-R. Most know I'm a 'Rega Guy' and this is the core of everything in my system, so this is risky move for me, yet I think the time is right.

1 owner (me), purchased from Living Sound & Vision in Fortitude Valley in Dec 2016

Tech Specs:

  • 105 Watts per channel into 8
  • 127 Watts per channel into 6
  • 162 Watts per channel into 4
  • Input sensitivity for 105 Watts into 8
  • Line inputs (input 1 switch set to line) 1-5 and record - 196mV load 10K
  • Phono (input 1 switch set to phono) - 2mV Load 47K in parallel with 220pF
  • Direct input - 760mV Load 50K
  • Power amplifier gain - 31.6dB
  • Record output - 196mV for rated inputs
  • Pre-amplifier output - 760mV for rated inputs
  • Dimensions: W 432mm x D 325mm x H 82mm
  • Weight - 13kg

Comes with the fancy Rega remote and the standard kettle cord and original packaging

I'll give preference to local buyer/pick-up, but but could post at buyers cost (it's heavier than it looks!)

seriously, I own the Elicit-R (and have done the same path as OP) and it's a cracker of an amp and this is right on the money.

If any Melbourians are thinking about it they can come over and try mine.

Very deep, defined bass compared to the elex-r, full, solid sound and has heightened my enjoyment of every record in my collection from hip-hip to jazz with metal in between!

Cheers Spider, I agree with every word. It's truly worth upgrading from the Elex to Elicit for those very reasons.

PS: I said I'd never sell the Elicit-R, so you never know with the Saturn-R  ;)
