thatmetalman
Does anyone see an issue if the rear panel RCA socket passives were moved to their respective boards? C17 and C18 to the MC board, R13 and C19 to the MM board, and so on. Similarly, R23 and R24 to the SW3 board? Bill suggested that Tilbrook took this approach due to a lack of space on the board/s. Anyone care to share thoughts? I would be happy to add these to the boards, it makes sense from an ease-of-construction perspective. Leinster Lad
I cannot see it making any difference Tim. Will wait for the hive-mind to verify. I know DT was active on the DIY hifi forum year or so ago. Be great if he was active here !
thatmetalman
Been reworking the sub boards following comments from Bill that the text was too small (which it was). I really want the placement text silkscreened on each sub board, but the 3-way board is proving particularly difficult; the smaller sub boards are impossible to fit text on to once font is enlarged. These renders are fairly close to 1:1, so you can get a feel for how small the text truly is after enlargement. Take note of the 1, 2, 3 dots. Not ideal. Should I remove text altogether, bar the switch IDs? On the single-switch smaller sub boards, once you enlarge the text it becomes completely unworkable.
