hddvduser Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Good Morning Everyone, As you know we have been campaigning hard for the WMIFF Audience choice award, and in the last 17 days we have amassed 15200+ Votes, leaving us a mere 11,000 votes shy of First place, and a mere 6,000 votes shy of second. Job well done on everyone's part, but it's not over until voting has closed or as they say the Fat Lady sings... So please, spread the word, give another vote and lets see if we can take first place by August 15th (when voting ends) Head to this link: http://wmiff.com/?q=movies%2Fvote-peoples-choice-film Scroll and find Deadlands 2, Click add next to title name Scroll to the bottom and click vote. it is that simple. Please help spread the word. In other news, I will be a guest at the Louisville Fright Night Film Fest Jul 30-Aug 1 2010, and I have also submitted the extended cut of Deadlands 2 to the Horrorfind Film Fest... still waiting on word from them. In the next two weeks we will be starting a whole new campaign in regards to Deadlands 3. While I have not yet heard word from 20th Century Fox I am opting to give them until July 31st. If no word comes down the pike by then I will find alternate resources to get the movie done. I set a firm start date of April 15th 2011 and I plan on sticking to it. So stay tuned for more information Thanks for your support Gary ID LIKE IF YOU CAN HELP VOTE FOR THIS TO HELP HIM HAVE A CHANCE OF WINNING SINCE HE DID DO THE LAST HDDVD TITLE EVER MADE THANKYOU

hddvduser Posted July 13, 2010 Author Posted July 13, 2010 Technically not true on two fronts1) Deadlands 2 was a HD DVD-R burn and not a true pressing 2) There is another HD DVD release in the works, a true pressing this time, http://forums.highdefdigest.com/hd-dvd-sof...e-order-13.html the only reason why it was hd dvd-r burn was it took 6 months to find someone to press it and thats why they only decided to burn it or it was never going to get finished...
