Tv Scheduler Pro And Windows 7

Recommended Posts

I just reformatted my PC - was using Windows 7 and TVSP just fine before but now I just can't seem to locate any channels when doing a scan.

During install when the command prompt boxes flash open for a split second, looks like it may be reporting some error but can't be certain as it is on screen for a split second. I get the impression there is a permissions issue perhaps trying to register a filter or DLL or something like that during install?

I've got DVICO Fusion software running OK and it IS picking up channels no problem.

Running a scan, the logs reveal the following but I'm not sure how to interpret this. Any help would be really appreciated as this was really great software.

Can you uninstall the Dvico app and try again? Also did you set this card up with MCE? I found MCE seems to take hold of a tuner and doesn't release it so TV Scheduler Pro cannot find a free tuner when it wants to record or scan channels.

Just a couple of suggestions to try.

Assuming you are in Australia you won't find anything on 177500. If you know the centre frequencies that transmissions in your area are on do a manual scan, specifying the centre frequency and bandwidth and see what the logs come back with.

You could also give dvbguide a go from the comand line to see if it can detect anything.

dvbguide.exe -b7 -cXXXXXX - replace XXXXXX with the centre frequency of a transmission in your area.

Are you sure. Seven I thought was on 177.500Mhz in Sydney and a couple of other places?
