cwt Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 (edited) A quote from M Code at avs forum Certain major brands rush their HDMI products to market without undertaking the long/cumbersome but required process of software validation for HDMI repeaters.... Thought this may be of some interest since we've all had fun getting things to communicate with other things .. Here are links to those ce's products that have been through the testing ;note plenty of holes for models that havent had it done but doesnt necessarily mean a piece isnt reliable ;just peace of mind I spose for those listed Gives a pointer to why pvrs are more susceptible perhaps than other sources . http://www.digital-cp.com/hdcp_products note; Listing of devices is at the manufacturer’s discretion. They should just work Al ; he should have tried the player direct as was suggested to rule out the jvc and why he was using source direct rather than 1080p to fix it is beyond me All the firmware upgrades we get its incredible it works at all
