Here are a few pics of the rotating screen - v1 & v3 in various stages of construction.

v1 was wooden, on long wall in lounge (constructed around Daikin aircon outlet) - with rotation to ceiling when not in use.

Unfortunately, it wasn't until this was complete that the impracticality of the room layout became apparent. And aesthetically v1 was a bust - it was a bit bulky. It also managed to self-destruct the right hand side anchoring point when one of the linear actuator wires came adrift as without both working in concert the rotational stress destroyed the wall mount.

So along came v3 (after a proof of concept v2) - made out of 25.4mm square aluminium tubing - aligned against the windows - and much less bulky.

v3 is not without its problems - aesthetically it still overhangs the room a bit, and the linear actuators are just too visible. What makes the setup unworkable though is the lack of clearance around the screen to allow a masking system to be added on (and the daikin aircon outlet is just too painful where it is.). One of the primary reasons for selecting a fixed screen was a belief in the better quality picture over a motorised screen. So v3 will shortly be retired - with v4 relocating the screen to directly in front of the windows on a moveable platform - so can have move screen to vacate window if wanted. Not ideal, but resisting moves to get motorised screen until v4 assessed.

Finally - a few pics of the Mk4 lenses with their CineSlides - not fully wired yet - but getting closer. (Projectors are aligned to the screen; but Mk4 not yet been adjusted when in place.) Waiting on v4 screen to be completed later this week.

Provided all things go to plan - possibly by this time next week it may be all operational again.
