I am just wondering if this is happening to anyone else. After watching a Foxtel HD channel (live or recorded) and then switching back to another Fox channel (or another recorded program) there is no audio. If you go back to the same HD progam it's fine as is any FTA. It's not self-muting and switching the TV to FTA and then back to Foxtel sorts it out. It only happens after watching Foxtel HD stuff and not every time - but more often than not. Not a biggie but a bit frustrating. I am sure it never used to happen (had HD for about 18 months and it wasn't a problem initially - from memory - but has been happening for a while.

I vaguely remember having something similar happening to me some time ago. It maybe unrelated and may make no difference but my issue was the AC3/MPEG option.

If you go to setup, adv settings, A and L settings, then change to the AC3 to MPEG, save new settings. Does that do anything?

I am using SPDIF and it worked for me so unsure if you are using that or HDMI.

Like I said it could be unrelated but when I messed around with that menu I got it to work and have had no further problems.

Could also be a firmware. Updated lately?

Good luck!

Cheers - will check that out at home tonight.
