donaldp Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 (edited) Full 7 day epg in Brisbane at least. I'm in Sydney, and I still only had now and next this afternoon. :-\ However, I did notice a message come across the screen at the time on SBS saying there would be interruptions to service in various areas as they performed maintenance, so perhaps it relates to this? P.S. Hopefully ABC won't be far behind. They only seem to upload the day before. i.e. a 1 day EPG (or 3 days if it's a Friday arvo). Edited December 5, 2008 by donaldp

diesel Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Finally! This was really my only bugbear left with FTA EPG. If they can maintain this service after the new Freeview EPG goes live I will be happy...
IanSav Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Hi, Still no EPG data for the SBS 2 or SBS NEWS channels. Regards, Ian.

Hi donaldp - Sydney was put up yesterday morning so you should have it by now. Most tuners don't need to do anything but if you still don't have it, then perhaps a manual rescan of just SBS might do the trick. The only place that doesn't have it yet is Darwin due to some site based prob but I hear that's changing soon.
zappa Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 The totally ridiculous thing is that I'll watch a lot more sbs now - never have to miss newstopia again!!

g12345567 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 How frustrating that its finished for the year Wednesdays 10pm wont be quite the same.. Stick to watching Long Way Down before hand. I started watching the first episode last Wednesday and am now hooked. But I'm glad SBS finally got there act together and implemented a propper EPG. Makes programming my PVR so much easier.
gongster Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Any info on the SBS EPG for regional areas? I'm tuned to the Mt Gibraltar transmitter and don't get the SBS EPG nor even the now/next. The ABC and regional commercial stations are fine.
diesel Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 They probably start in the cities first and then work out to the regionals?
donaldp Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Hi donaldp - Sydney was put up yesterday morning so you should have it by now. Yes, I got it not long after I posted, thanks. :-) Now if ABC could just get their act together....
