I bought this lens as a package with my DSLR but partner really thinks that I got too many lenses, hence the sale. It is brand new, I only took it out to try some shots to make sure that I got a good copy of the lens. Focus is accurate, no softness, back/front focus, etc... All great, very sharp and contrasty wide open. Even at f/2.8, this lens is still really sharp. Since it's brand new, it comes with the 12 months full warranty. This is the version without the motor one, not the one with motor for D40x and D60. This one focuses much faster and more accurate than the motor version one, perfect for D70/D80/D90 or D100/D200/D300. It's a great walkaround all purpose lens and also great for night/indoor photography because of the constant f/2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range. New is $600 from camera shops around Australia, I am willing to let it go for $450 + postage. Or you can pick it up if you're in Sydney. Thanks!
