andrewfossey Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Just noticed that they have now removed channel seven completely from foxtel tv guide on satellite in Adelaide.Just like channel 10. Add Melbourne to the list and removing the Channel 7 entry from the EPG seems to have corrected the EPG issues we were having.

loony Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Must have something to do with being on Satellite. Both SD and HD 7 are fine here on cable

wheelz Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Considering we dont get the channels on sat then theres no point in them being on the epg.
nico6 Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Is there any update as to when Channel 7 will be on satellite? Is that new Optus satellite up yet? I only recall 2009 'sometime'...
miata Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 channel7 gone off my epg as well Same here in S.E.Q., there was a note recently on the information page, to the effect that agreement had been reached for re-transmission by satellite of 7 and that subscribers would be kept up to date. It said that a new Satellite would be available "early" in the New Year.
redhenry Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 channel7 gone off my epg as well Now if only they could remove 7 from the airways altogether...
mwyres Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Same here in S.E.Q., there was a note recently on the information page, to the effect that agreement had been reached for re-transmission by satellite of 7 and that subscribers would be kept up to date. It said that a new Satellite would be available "early" in the New Year. Optus D3 is due to be launched on the Arianespace V188 mission. This mission was given the date 20th February, 2009, and held this date for some months. It has recently had it's date cancelled, and this mission is listed now only as "April to June, 2009". That's not to say it won't go up before April, but more than likely, April will be the earliest the satellite slips into orbit. http://www.lyngsat.com/launches/2009.html
miata Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Now if only they could remove 7 from the airways altogether... 7 doesn't show cricket, which makes it #1 in my book!
redhenry Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 7 doesn't show cricket, which makes it #1 in my book! You don't watch cricket? Blasphemy!
miata Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 You don't watch cricket? Blasphemy! It's like synchronised swimming without the water.
nico6 Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 It's like synchronised swimming without the water. ...and without the synchronisation and nose plugs...
