Has anyone got a system mix of Paradigms v6 Fronts with v5 centres? Anyone use the Paradigm mini monitors or titans as rear speakers rather than the dipoles? thanks

Anyone use the Paradigm mini monitors or titans as rear speakers rather than the dipoles? thanks I have the Titan v.6 as rears and couldn't be happier. The dipoles wouldn't have suited my lounge room layout so I was originally going to get the Mini Monitors but for only $100 or so more I went with the Titans. Bigger is better right . As far as differences between v.5 and v.6 I think they're only subtle, like improved power efficiency and better midrange performance ? Do a goole search on v.6 and you'll find some reviews outlining the improvements.

I didn't audition the focals either.

icebox425 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 When I auditioned those speakers last year I found the Paradigms were awesome for movies and quite good with music. They were really in your face and powerful. I found the Focals to be very delicate and precise, but not in-you-face enough for movies. I loved them for things like jazz music but just didn't have the impact of say Paradigms or Krix for movies.
