hi guys. i heard on a 50 channel setup in australia, dont know if its in uhf or satellite but id like to know if its satellite wether ill have to pay per mnth or if its fta, should be fta. will the adelaide stations or another channel for adelaide today tonight .

also has anyone heard about channel 9 when thats comming into pt pirie

It's 15 channels and basically that's 3 identical versions of the current 5 you have (ABC, SBS, 7,9,10)

http://freeview.com.au/ It's just marketing if you already have digital TV nothing will change except your EPG may stop working.

they will be on the 5 fta channels you're already receiving, i.e. each frequency will have 3 channels (streams of video and audio).

they will be broadcast terrestrially

You should ring up GTS 4 (Southern Cross TV) and ask them what's going on in your area. But if you can get Adelaide signals you will get the freeview lot.

An HD stb will give you all the freeview channels. Ask the local tv antenna person if it is possible to get Adelaide tv in Kadina.
