Guest EZYHD Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 According to this story HN may close some stores, poor old Gerry. LINK:
mcduck Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 said a couple of weeks ago in a thread in the real forum that the Browns Plains QLD store was closing. i wonder how the Oxley one is going, they only just extended that one and if i remember, when i'm at indro on sunday, i'll see what's happened to the one there
Guest EZYHD Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I guess Gerry has enough to live on, as long as he continues to have his shoes resoled he will be able to live quite comfortably!.
ajm1503559545 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 No skin of Gerry's nose really his net worth will drop but once you make the first bllion the rest are just for bragging rights. The stores all franchised (IIRC) so it's the owners and their employees who cop it in the neck.

The stores all franchised (IIRC) so it's the owners and their employees who cop it in the neck. Some franchised, some owned. Franchised store closure means a big loss for the owner (presumably) and loss franchised fee for Gerry. Plus more sales guys to be employed by Bing Ree, Good Guys et al.
