Samsung 6 Lcd 46" - Price Check

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

I've been reading this forum for like a year now, and have finally decided to take the plunge and buy my first flat screen TV this weekend. I've pretty much decided to buy a Series 6 46inch LCD. I'll be moving in the next 6 months and not to sure on lighting of future housing, so the LCD seem to be the better option with the fact that i do a lot gaming. I was going to get a Series 5, however I saw the difference the 100hz makes and the free Bluray player closed the deal.

The best price I was given last weekend was $2,550 + $175 for 2yrs extended warranty. Can anyone provide prices or even receipts?

I tried using the search function to find posts with prices, but the result was just to many posts to sort through. I had a look at the Wiki site for best prices, but it seems that other members have mentioned getting the TV for lower prices ($2,400 ish).

Hmmmmmmm ive just started noticing a 680 model number in the 6 series. Have I been living under a rock ??. Is this new, or has it been around for a while ?.

I was gonnna get an 8 series, but was a bit disappointed as side by side with a 6 (650) series, it didnt look that much better, but for looks, I wanted a square swivel stand, which the 680 now has.

Has this unit been around long ??.

As for pricing, I find cheapbargains.com.au, http://shop.gameon.net.au/, digitalcentre.com.au and 1 new ones I discovered in another thread http://www.shoppingsafari.com.au/

I guess it depends on your location which is best to choose, especially if you want to pick up.
