I have to say no.

I have many two disc versions and the second disc has most times never left the case.

I agree for me it's a no. But.... I did watch most of the extras on the Indiana Jones Blu-ray last night till 2am.

Anything Spielberg sparks an interest for me. <_<

PQ and SQ priority, extras just icing on the cake.

Wouldn't this be more appropriate in the general or DVD section since extras (and the not watching of them) isn't related to the format?

Is the closing date for the "Troll of the Year" award coming soon or something? Seems the OP is in an awful rush to get nominated.

Gee look another thread that's been done before, further proof of the latest troll or should I say Alt account, move on tool

It must really kill you that I joined this forum before you...

I think its generally recognised that sometimes the BD extras are either SD carryovers from the DVD... or non existent... or sparse...

I'm just wondering whether the extras change your purchasing decision... no harm, no foul...

Or have you got something against me or my posts since you didn't really respond to the subject of the thread?

Big yes for me. I dont buy a movie unless it offers a excellent suite of extras..preferably bonusview stuff. I love watching the in movie experience stuff...particularly making of break downs in films. Loved the feature in HDDVD and was happy that it was included in the BD spec. Big fan of Universal and the work they do to implement Bonus view supplements.

No prizes for guessing who is going to be the first asked to leave.

Account Misuse

Harassment of other members;

I have a right to be here, and enjoy it as much as any other fair minded and reasonable person. If you don't agree with me then just don't read my threads. Simple.

If you think that the topic is somehow against the rules then tell me why it is unreasonable to ask that question (or report it to a moderator) and if you can't do either then stop your harassment of me.

This hounding and pursuit of me is pretty shitty form on your parts...

Awww diddums! You go out of your way to be provocative and then cry foul when you get the expected reaction. Rather than create threads with the express intent of ruffling feathers why not put your time to good use? Then grow up a little.

Are you serious?

Two people have replied in informative ways... and you and the other bully have tried to impose your will on this thread for no other reason than it has apparently ruffled YOUR feathers...

Why do you suppose everyone is like you?

I have no intention to bully anyone, I'm merely pointing out the fact that you sole motive for starting this and other threads is to cause a fuss - which you've accomplished. The fact that some people haven't noticed this and post anyway is a shame but they'll soon come to realise they've been sucked in by a troll.

You're not the first troll, you're not the best troll, in actual fact you're not even a terribly good troll. But you are a troll.

That's very kind of you old chap... and I hope you meant it...

Cheers

If it's like what you say, then this is tantamount to admitting that you're the biggest sucker of them all...

Because i'd rather read something other than arguments, i'll say that i completely agree with the above statement.

Also, as a consumer, why should i be compromised of the complete package?...particuarly when it comes to new release DVD's and BR's, where there is a premium is involved.

But if you had a disc that had the extras at say $35 and one with just the movie at $30, would you buy just the movie? I know There would probably be a price difference where the extras aren't worth it with some movies. Some I have really enjoyed watching - Zodiac springs to mind where the real case files were actually more interesting than the movie to me. I believe the Profile 2.0 capabilities will be used more and more as time goes by and what we expect as extras today will completely change in time. If not on Blu-Ray then on something else, but I can see possibilities where extras from the internet could change the whole entertainment package for the consumer.

I don't care much for extras. It's the movie itself I buy. That said, If it were a choice of Extras or not...i'd obviously take them as sometimes they can be rather cool and informative.

When the extras are stuff like the movie preview and some photo's....that's just a waste IMO.

P.s. Yorac and Ajm...there's nothing at all inflammatory in the OP...once again you are jumping on the attack bandwagon for no real reason, any chance to use the 'T' word though aye! ...pathetic.

Maybe you ought to read through some of the OP's previous posts and thread before dropping the "P" word. Maybe you'll see the theme, maybe you won't. Either way I couldn't care.
