Neither him or myself have shipped or had anything shipped before, so just looking for any recomendations on shipping from UK to OZ. Any help would be very much appreciated. Cheers Matt

Presumably Air if its just an item from E-Bay. 1) The packing must not be any type of old fruit box or wooden. 2 Needs a detailed packing list for Customs Purposes. 3 If you don't live at the port of entry you will need a "Door to door" service otherwise the shipping agent in OZ will take you to the cleaners with all extra costs getting Custom Inspection and onward shipping to your home. If you live at the port of entry get the seller to courier it by one of the major international courier companies then email the details to you direct. Should have all the flight details listed so you can go to the Airport and pick it up on the day of arrival. You will have to clear the package through Customs and Quarantine yourself. ( Dead Easy ) If you do not show up to collect the package quickly they will charge you an arm and leg for storage costs in the 'Bonded Warehouse' . You will have to take a copy of the shipping documents and photo ID/passport with you when picking up. Most of the International Couriers Issue an Airwaybill tracking number so you can track the progress of the package on the internet. Same basically applies for Sea Shipping but arrival date will be a few months depending on Ship schedules.
