FMB Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I ordered a new Dell 5100MP a couple of days ago while they were on special (normally $2,299 less $300). The special has now ended. Two days after ordering it, I get a phone call from a rep at Dell offering us the same PJ from a cancelled order. It's brand new and never been delivered. He offered it to us for $1,755. We tried to cancel our existing order but they were going to charge us a $175 cancellation fee. Hardly worth all the time and effort. So, if anyone is in the market for a cheap 5100MP, PM me and I'll send you the contact details for the rep at Dell. Some of the specs for this PJ include: 3300 ansi lumens 2500:1 contrast ratio SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) Native Resolution, 16.7 Million deployable Colors Great connectivity - HDMI, RJ-45, VGA (15 pin D-sub), M1 (DVI), Composite Video, RGB/Component (via DB15), S-Video, RS 232, BNC Connectors, Audio in and Audio out ports. Supports a full range of television and video standards, including NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL (B/D/G/H/I/M/N), SECAM (B/D/G/K/K1/L) and HDTV (480i/P, 576i/P, 720P, 1080i) compatible.
FMB Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 *BUMP* This projector is now officially for sale (from Thursday). No reasonable offer refused. PM me if interested. I've also got a manual pull down screen that's not doing anything. Not sure what size it is though.
