JackTarrieOnSafari Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 I have been playing Gran Turismo 5 prologue in 1080P with no problems. I bought Medal Of Honour the other day, on the back it shows that it can play 720, 1080i and 1080p. But when i played it, it only showed as 720p. Anyone else have any issues with this game?

It's not a 1080p game. Nor is GT5P (at least not 1920x1080 like most people expect) but it uses resampling to boost it's res from 1280x1080. Welcome to "next-gen" gaming

hypnotoad8128 Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Doesn't matter, advertising blurbs are just that. The game was developed at 720p native resolution. Most games are. Wipeout HD, Ridge Racer 7, Lair, Blast Factor, Calling All Cars, Flow, LocoRoco Cocoreccho, PixelJunk Racers, PixelJunk Monsters, Super Stardust HD, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection are amongst the few that are developed native 1920x1080p. I've gotta say, this is one reason why I haven't gone out and bought a 1080p set yet. While I do enjoy my HD movies, I play more games and watch more TV than I do Blu-rays/HD-DVDs. With my 720p set, I'm pretty happy with the resolution, although I do hate knowing that the BD's I do watch could look sooooo much better
