phase5 Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone's interested. The iTunes Australia Store is now offering an increased range of TV Shows and Movies. Some in HD. Some only a week behind the fta broadcast. Some shows like "Monk" haven't been seen locally for years. And "Ugly Betty" is in there as well. You need cash to pay for it all, and a good broadband connection to ease those download times. I looked at it this morning and thought, "yep this is where it's all going to end up".
azure1503559508 Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 This is the US list, hopefully an insight of whats on the horizon. http://www.tvshowtracker.com/ I d/loaded an episode of SpongeBob for my boys recently, and comparing it to the local DVD release, there is a slight improvement in the soundtrack.. I wonder if they source it from the original tapes rather than the DVD master (which has a Dolby AC3 s/track)?? American Dad is in that list, I hope they release that locally.
