tonymy01 Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 What is Beyonwiz via comp.? Component? Composite? Computer? Yes to component, yes to composite (if you set the output to 576i). Yes to HDMI. Audio via analogue, SPDIF and HDMI also. Regards
Charlie Parker Posted October 6, 2008 Author Posted October 6, 2008 (edited) component mate. (think) i currently run my standard foxtel from scart>component ( scart turns into a 5 cable lead) i just read this. http://hd.foxtel.com.au/pdf/FOXTEL_iQ2_Tec...cifications.pdf appears you can run the same connection, which means i can use HDMI for the wiz? or am i a bit lost???? Not really sure what you are asking here however you can run the IQ2 using either HDMI or component. Both can carry a 1080P signal so you will get the same quality using either connection P.S new tv (12 months off) will have minimum of 3 HDMI ports... hindsights a ****! Just get a HDMI splitter. They can be had cheap nowdays

Just have to pull the HDMI to play xbox 360
Charlie Parker Posted October 6, 2008 Author Posted October 6, 2008 http://www.cablechick.com.au/cables/high-e...i-splitter.html this sort of thing? or is there better?
loony Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 okay. does a splitter share the signal or do you have to switch it from device to device.. There are different types of splitters, they can work either way i think the I.Q2 using component and the wiz using HDMI will solve my issue. Just have to pull the HDMI to play xbox 360 That will work fine
