forumite1503560776 Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 For the past 6 weeks (maybe longer) I haven't been able to get ANY series link to work on ABC1, I am on cable, with IQ2 + IQ. Apparently it's a known issue, anyone else have this problem? Some channels do work some of the time, others none, ABC1 I watch a lot so it's really annoying me. It's the same on my IQ box as well as my IQ2.

Last night the series link on The Office, 4 episodes in a row, TV1, failed. I have an IQ box. Luckily I was awake and saw it had stopped recording. Had to schedule each individual episode in the end, but missed half of two episodes. Not happy. With the ABC, I usually see the "searching" message listed looking for the next program once a recording with series link starts. Sometimes takes a very long time to find it. On Wednesday it got its knickers in a twist looking for the next episodes of Hollowmen and Small Business. Both had finished their run. Perhaps that's why the IQ failed last night - it was still upset and confused.
loony Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 A few days ago my "Tonight show with jay leno" series link dropped off. This is the only issue i have had.
Sgt Bargearse Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 My Series Link of The Sopranos seemed to disappear, and I missed recording Thursday's and Friday's episodes. I re-added it via the online EPG and it still has the Series Link icon in the planner.

re-boot Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 I just rang Foxtel. There is a problem.... There is always a problem with the series link. It's not a once off, and it happens regularly. Funnily enough, I notice it more often than not dies on a Thursday or so. You can expect this to happen, just as you can expect them to debit your credit card for this kind of service. I mean really, can't they get their act together by now? I had this problem with the IQ1.
