Another thread typical of the NSW ignorance of anyone but themselves and their own version of gridiron, why don't you guys apply to become the 52nd State or something like that :P

Why dont you re-read re-edit and consider apologising for what you interpreted as to what the OP intended with this thread by using words such as "ignorance" "grid iron" "themselves" and "defensiveness" and "paranoia" ( latter 2 words not used but blatantly obvious ) :)

and you wonder why I tossed you out of my Combined NRL /AFL thread :P

Now...

I believe Lyle didnt have a thread to post his AFL GF tips in

go ahead Lyle

Well take a pause while Collin finds a You Tube wedding link

..and picks a dress :D

meanwhile

Do the Hawks actually have a chance this year ? or are the Cats really "unbeatable" like Paul Roos said

( I wonder if any Vicks even knew he said that ) :P:winky:

So Hawthorn really only stand a chance if the Cats dont bring their A game ..and both teams should bring their game as neither are chokers...so it should be a close win to the Cats

Both teams really relying on the other not to bring their game to stand a better chance

But if the Hawks can lift with determination and spirit ...should still be a win to the Cats ?

hmm not much to go on.....but Im heading down the TAB anyway B)

with all that in mind...

go the Hawks :D

Do it for The Dipper!!! :winky:

onya Dipper....is Ablett playing ?

:D

I'm hoping the Hawks win and more importantly that it is a good game, but i see Geelong winning by 16 points.

Thats a tough one...the lines at 15 and a half

Last time they met Geelong 88 Hawthorn 77

both have won by some huge margins in the finals

Cats beat St Kilda by 58 , Hawks beat St Kilda by 54

both teams made 188 and 119 points in those games

might be a bit closer than a blowout either way

ok Im going for a less than 10 point win in a HUGE grand Final

Well, that's a different story then.

If i head down to the TAB, i'd put money on the Hawks for what i consider better value return.

at 15 and a half I dont really think it is good value

Geelong by 16 like you said would pay $7

Hawks 10-19 pays $11

might be better value backing both teams for a 10-19 margin :winky:

or just toss a coin

Don't forget to put something aside for the Night Grand Prix Mello. :winky: Wonder what the money would have been on Vettel for the win last race.

Geelong certainly had 5 of their best out last time, but i also don't believe Hawthorn played their best on that night. Still, there's that feeling inside it'll be two in a row for the Cats.
