ToeCutter Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 I bought a Samsung 58" plasma PS58P91FDX http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=180270356830 First one they sent me had heaps of bright pixels. They sent a courier and replaced it which was nice. Now after a month of using it over HDMI with my PS3 as a media server, I find that the picture regularly drops out for a second or two. Similar issue shows on youtube here On that youtube site, some say it's a fault with the HDMI cable but the more research I do online the more it seems to be a fault with the Samsung. Can anyone offer any advice or assistance?
Kombatman Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Had the same issues today with my PS3 and my 52" 650 LCD.... very annoying... only seems to happen at 1080p tho, 720p seems to be very stable (might be my HDMI cable). Don't have any problems running my PC at 1080p tho, so who knows...
ToeCutter Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 I'm using it primarily for Blu Ray so 1080p is the main reason I have it.
