Have you got a HDTV (FTA) tuner/STB/PVR? It was really nice on 7HD here in Sydney. I was demo-ing to someone last night vs NeinHDs thugby league blurro-vision Worse-than-SD*TM crap. Would be interesting to compare the FTA HD channels with the Foxtel HD channels (I have never been impressed with them when seeing the setups they have in the shopping centres, but they have a lot more potential given the MPEG4 compression rather than FTA MPEG2... well, for the same bitrates. I guess FoxHD digital bitrates are tiny).

I also have HDMI, but for FTA from the Beyonwiz to TV (the TV has a HD tuner too). The point I am making is to see what you think of the free to air feed, and then use the FoxHD as a comparison to FTA.

I don't have Foxtel at all, so probably shouldn't have posted here, but I did watch a fair few minutes of the game last night and it looked really good on 7HD in Sydney.

I was watching the replay today on fox sports 1 after going to the game last night and noticed the motion blur, was almost unwatchable!! I thought it was an issue with my samsung lcd, as it looked a bit like the motion plus issues of a year or so ago, but obviously not if others noticed it.

I only have IQ and SD Plasma. A potentially upgrading customer.

So I was walking through our local shopping centre and I glance over at the Foxtel stand. What is on the Samsung HD panel? The Sydney v Western Bulldogs game. The score display looks stunning. True HD.

Then I watch the game. Player movement was terrible. The motion blur was obvious, and I thought it was the LCD screen not handling it well. (actually had me writing off LCD for my Full HD purchase)

Now to find out others saw the same thing, not a good advertisement for Foxtel, particularly at their kiosk!

70 percent of the problem was simply that game. although on your lcd and plasma u still get motion blur es[ecially on the afl its the worst
