jmtheo1503560626 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Can using an HDMI splitter degrade HD LPCM audio at all? My splitter states it's v1.3b HDCP compliant and it passes BTB and WTW video information, so all is good on the video front, but I'm just wondering if the audio is getting through correctly. I'm assuming that since the video is all good then the audio is too, but using a 463, is there any way to display what bandwidth etc it's receiving?? ie, my PS3 says it's sending DTS-MA 5.1/48kHz/~5mbs, but how do I know that's what's actually getting through to the AVR? To my ears it sounds better than the standard DTS/DD tracks, but how do I know for sure?? Thanks in advance. PS - I've tried to find info on the internerd about this, but even the all knowing Google can't give me an answer
