moxfulder Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 It would be pretty unlikely you would not win something. There are 3 swimmers you can select. I am of the believe majority of people would win something. I won the cheapest instant prize of a Lumix camera. Would have preferred a Blu-ray player.

I went to buy a PX8A at Myer and got a pretty ok deal but as they were currently out of stock I only put a deposit down, paying the rest when they get my TV in stock. I played Swim to Win that night not expecting anything but scored a camcorder - From looking at the terms and conditions though it states that the purchase needs to be made in one transaction and I'm not sure if this will make my entry invalid or not. Given that I was fully intending to pay everything there and then if the TV had been in stock (and that I am intending on completing the purchase within the next few weeks) I'd be a bit disappointed if I was disqualified. I figure that I'll wait until I've paid and received a receipt for the remaining amount before sending in my entry (with a note explaining the circumstances). Any advice?
Geforce Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 It's not a very generous promo giveaway compared to Sony and Samsung and the number of prizes allocated by Panasonic is pretty small. There's only one item I want when I buy a 1080p panel and that's a blueray player. I might email Panasonic that they just lost a customer because I like to rub it into the faces of large Corporations when I can.

It worth about $469, according to the Bing Lee advertisement on today's paper. May I ask what Panasonic camera that your guys are getting?

I am seriously considering a 42" 8A or 80A Pana plasma. If i'm virtually guaranteed to win something, then that'll knock at least $100 off the price if I can sell what I win on ebay. Makes the prospect very attratcive.

(which has a retail price of AUD$4099 on panasonic's website), all I got was a entry-level $150 digital camera. Better than nuthin tho. When I enter the details for the 160GB HDD DVDR unit in the comp. (which has a retail price of AUD$549 on panasonic's website), I hope I get something better! Then again, I'm going to win one of the major prize packs valued at $25k soon and that will be pretty sweet..

Cheers Where I got my panel from isn't on the list either but it is running the promotion so i assume Myer would be aswell. I have sent off my receipt and am awaiting a reply.
