mantronic Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Given that we all collaborate here to get the cheapest prices on sets, its pretty well known here that you can get one of these or the better a650 for under $3000 with a free PS3 or Samsung Blue Ray worth $700 (ie $2300 brand new delivered with full warranty). Wont be easy to sell for more or even same as the new price. Ebay buyers may be less informed and more likely to pay top dollar.

Thanks for supporting the forum Mantronic, high second hand prices should be identified, I have always believed snd hand should be 75% of best deal on new. CP
frozenblaze Posted June 28, 2008 Author Posted June 28, 2008 (edited) Just so you know, I have constantly supported forum members with great deals on HDdvd's, projectors and previous TV's. I bought this TV for $4000 through the group by, and felt I WAS offering at least 75% (Which I believe is a good deal) as I have not personally seen the 46" XBR below $3600 in any shops. I havent gone through the Bravia thread but I still havent heard of any friend who have bought them for below $3000. Are you sure its the 46" XBR model we are talking about, everywhere Ive seen has about $3600 including cash back, or will revert to $3600 including PS3, still mine at $2500 is good value? Appreciate your feedback anyway. Edited June 28, 2008 by frozenblaze
kirk7 Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 I havent seen an XBR for less than 3000...i know you and i both got the 46in X-series for below 3k... Good luck Frozenblaze, but i would take the ebay route.
