trebo36 Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Had an install done yesterday, standard Pace box to IQ2. Blown away by the picture improvement etc etc but my AV sender now refuses to send to a bedroom TV. All connections are much the same as I had before, other than going from component output on the Pace to hdmi for the IQ2. I have always output the sender through a Pana HD/DVD recorder (RGB out to composite for the sender). I have no probs. recording Foxtel IQ2 on the Pana DVD which is connected to IQ2 via Scart to Scart (Fox to Pana). I have tried the AV sender connected via the spare scart out on the IQ2 with no success. I have also tried the composite outs on the IQ2. I am using 'option 1' in the IQ2 setup which suggests that the 2 RGBs on the IQ2 will output SD composite. Any suggestions please before I junk the sender?

Any suggestions please before I junk the sender? I doubt that the sender is the problem. My sender was connected to the old UEC box via the VCR scart -> composite cable. When the IQ2 was installed the tech just plugged the SCART back in and everything works as before.

If it is connected to Scart TV and video output is set to YUV it won't work, because as far as I understand it is connected with composite cable ... Try to connect it to Scart VRC hope it will help
trebo36 Posted June 20, 2008 Author Posted June 20, 2008 is your AV sender connected to Scart TV or Scart VCR ?If it is connected to Scart TV and video output is set to YUV it won't work, because as far as I understand it is connected with composite cable ... Try to connect it to Scart VRC hope it will help Thanks Sidor & qldbridge. Sidor, it is connected to the VCR scart with the TV scart connected to my DVD recorder. Also I don't know why it will not work with it connected to the composite outs on the iq - tried it with all 4 options under the iq setup menu. Seems that if qldbridge had no issues then my transmitter side of the sender has died because I have tried to send to 2 AV receivers.
