Hi there Adam. Is it possible to let me know what the HD-A3 players is Australian terms ie. is it liek the EP-10, HE-EX1 et..

I will have alook myself tomorrow when i finish work. Also could put in your profile where you are from or even post where you are. Egxample look at mine and it says Brisbane. Could save on postage etc...

Hi Scott, its a third generation player, but someone else might need to explain its European/Australian counterpart. Its the base model if I'm not mistaken.

I'm from sunny Wagga Wagga, N.S.W.

Thanks,

Adam.

It's the same as an E1...720p/1080i output

Way too much? How much would you have charged? I thought my price was fairly reasonable. When I was working out the price, I halved what I originally paid for the HD-A3 at Christmas time, plus around $10 per HD DVD title. Sure, the HD-A3 is cheap in the U.S., but you have to get it here and then there's the postage time.

As a general question to all, how much is a secondhand HD-E1 worth now? If the A3 doesn't get any takers. I might consider selling my E1 instead. Looking at buying a PS3.

Hey im just saying, good for you if you get a bid, but $350 starting price for an A3 which is the low end HD DVD player, yeah i understand you have 10 HD DVD movies with it but they are only really worth around $100 for the 10 considering the majority were only $4-$7 on EzyDVD, the only one that boosts the price is the matrix collection. So that basically means you want $250 for the player....your not even including the power converter.

HD-E1 with 10 HD DVDs (5 of them were Harry Potter) - Final price $565.95 PLUS $30 postage

If I was you I'd keep the A3 (currently selling for US$60 on eBay US) and sell the E1 with your discs, should just squeeze it in for a PS3 then

Hey guys, thanks for the pointers and constructive criticism. Have changed my auction to sell my precious E1. Hope it's worth it! Auction ends tonight.
