Dasha Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Hi Guys I have a LG (DVB-T HDD/DBRH197) I need some help please? Why is my "Recorder Timer Clock" faster than the display clock Eg: If I set the Timer to strat recording at 11.00 and end at 12.00 it actually Starts at 10.57 and ends at 11.57 - It will start 3 minutes earlier and finish 3 minutes earlier, but the "Clock" on the display of the DVD Player and the TV coincide exactly! There is no answer to this in the LG DVR Manual ?? How do I reset the "Recorder Timer clock" to Snc with the Display and TV clocks? why has it gained time it is only 12 months old? Am I going Nut's here or what?? Does this mean I have to allow the "3 minutes" in start and end times, every time I set to Record this has only happenned gradually in the last 3 months I have had many many VHS and DVR's and it's never been a problem' all I did was reset the main Display clock on the Recorder and that automaticly Reset or Corrected the Timer Recod clock? Thanks Dasha

Thanks Dasha Have you got the clock set to automatic or manual? I haven't seen this problem with mine, but I have had the problem that when a timer recording started with the clock set to automatically update itself when it switched on to record, if the timer had lost too much time while switched off when it switched on it wouldn't bother to start the recording at all. So I have to reset the clock manually every now and then to keep it close to the real time.
