caarot Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 (edited) Is there a TV guide that has all the extra channels in it? ie - ABC2. 7HD, 9HD, 10HD etc, I get the TV guide every week in the both the Sunday Telegraph and The Sun Herald. I like to get the printed guide and 'highlight' programs for the full week and refer to it as necessary throughout the week. I would like a printed guide that also contains ABC2. 7HD, 9HD, 10HD etc. Is there one around? The only 'printed' TV guides I can find only have the analogue programming (which corresponds to STD digital 2, 7, 9, 10, SBS) I know I can log onto the Internet and view HD and secondary channel programming at any time but this is time consuming and not very practical. Scenario 1: I saw advertised a program the other day "Suddenly, Last Summer" but could not recall the air time. I looked through my guide over and over - scanning each day again and again but could not find it. I then got on the Internet and finally found it on ABC2 - Sat 8:30 PM - This is the reason I could not find it in the guide - It is on ABC2 (which is not 'in' my guide) Scenario 2: 7HD, 9HD and 10HD all have a set amount of programming that must be different from the STD channels - but my TV guides don't show me what these programs are - For example the Sci-Fi programming on Thursday nights - I did not know for months that this was on as my TV guide does not show the HD program schedule. You can use the EPG guide on your STB or Digital TV but these are not always upto date. Remember the networks are not getting ratings points for additional channels nor interested in HD.They are only messing about until 2009 when they can multi channel on SD , then they will get OZTAM ratings for their total audience. The SMH guide on Monday has the best guide. Ice tv company has a private guide which we link to our Beyonwiz PVR . Edited June 13, 2008 by sydney2218
