Kib1503560292 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Has anyone set up their Logitech 1000i Remote Control to operate the new Foxtel IQ2 HD Box? If so, what model did you choose? I should be getting HD installed this Friday and would like to continue using the 1000i remote. Thanks.

If you dont have foxtel I dont know the codes though but you can just make the remote learn can you? For the codes you will want to look at and try ones for a Pace unit. A Pace TDC460NF which is the IQ1 will work exactly the same Edited June 10, 2008 by loony
Kib1503560292 Posted June 11, 2008 Author Posted June 11, 2008 Thanks for the replies. I already have IQ1 set up on the remote, so no problems.
sirhc55 Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 I have the i1000 and can confirm that it works perfectly with the IQ2 using the IQ codes
bhwsyd Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 I have the i1000 and can confirm that it works perfectly with the IQ2 using the IQ codes I had a couple of problems using the IQ1 codes on my Harmony 880. Try TDS-850NF (yes TDS not TDC!) as the device number after selecting PVR in Add Device.
Guest rodders70 Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 I just purchased the 1000i and also have IQ2. Will not get remote for a couple of days but when I did search to find compatibility on logitech site, I just put in IQ2 and system check said it was fine!. Did under "cable" and the chose "foxtel". Hope it all works when I get it!
Guest rodders70 Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 This is the best remote ever. Usually very sceptical of these types of devices but it is great. If only IQ2 didn't screw up all the time when using it (so did the original remote from foxtel!!!)
