unique7 Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Hey guys, I see MSY are selling HDMI cables. I'm after the Ritmo 5M 19pin for $15 dollars. Just wondering what version/speed this is, 1.0/1.1/1.2/1.3?? If anyone knows that will be great! Also, does anyone have trouble connecting these to there xbox 360 or ps3's at 1080p? cheers!
Neon Kitten Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 I had no problems with the one I got last year - excellent quality, heavy gauge name-brand cable which does 1080p fine from the PS3. However bear in mind that "Ritmo" is just a re-badger/repackager. The HDMI cable you buy with their name on the package today will likely be completely different to the one I bought last year. I have three "Ritmo" CAT6 cables here, bought over the period of a few months, and each one is completely different, from colour to cable to connector.
unique7 Posted June 5, 2008 Author Posted June 5, 2008 Thanks very much for the quick response :) Just wondering about my second question now!
adriant Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 I purchased a 10m cable last year, and it didn't work with a 1080p signal. It would carry 1080i ok though. But they are pretty cheap, so can't really complain.
reags Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 im using a 10m ritmo, works fine @ 1080p. its interesting as i had issues with the cable on samsugns but perfect on my sony.
tofutofutofu Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 bought the cheapest 2 meter length hdmi from play-asia (about 7 bucks aussie including shipping) and it works fine for connecting my ps3 to sammy F81
