Guest thecableman Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 I've been looking at these for a while actually, after seeing one at my mates house. I just got a note last night that Bing Lee is doing 30% off Logitech products so I might pick up this one the 515 Advanced? brycieboy Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Do Logitech make any good remotes? I had an older version of the Harmony - programming it was a PITA. In addition the contact points on the charging cradle corroded quite quickly which eventually ended in it being tossed.

The 515 has far more functionality than the hobbled 300. Try Logitechshop.com.au, Fluidtek.com.au or their ebay shop for cheap Logitech HarmonysDo Logitech make any good remotes? No issues with programming, and it's simple to upgrade to a new remote without having to set everything up again.
Guest monicacochrane Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 I search the specs, with a remote thats is working on 225,000+ devices its certainly worth it! But i'm not really surprised since logitech is always the leading manufacturer of great remotes.
steveD61 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 You guys have said it all here about the Harmony one, but I'll say it as well... a really great reliable product and the Logitech library is amazing...it really does have just about every device there. This has really added value to my HT system
lm0033 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I have had the harmony 900 for over a year it has replaced 5 remotes on my ht system it took a lot of efford to set it all up and I had to use the help line several times and I found them to be most help full 24/7 now I don't think I'll ever imagine life with out it.
panfan Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Works well, just not programable with Mac OS 10.6 After several hours on the phone to support in Canada they asked if I had an older Mac. I did, and it works fine with 10.4. Not really what I wanted as 10.6 compatibility is on the box.
diesel Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 That's surprising. I program my Harmony 785 on my iMac running 10.6. I thought the One used the same software?
panfan Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Keep trying to use 10.6 at regular intervals, because if my old 10.4 Mac ever dies I’m stuck, unable to change anything. The same problem occurred with a Telstra prepaid broadband dongle, necessitating taking the old laptop on holiday. BigPond has since issued a download for 10.6 users to solve the problem, [the application would go straight into trash.] I wish Logitech would do the same.
