I'm looking for an LCD tv for the bedroom. I think a 32" one would be too big and there ain't many 26" ones with built in digital tuners.

I've seen the pana ones and Hitachi. Anyone have other brands i should look at or any opinions on the pana and hitachi?

Any comments appreciated.

I have a white Samsung 26" LCD TV with built-in HD tuner from a promotion for sale if you are interested. PM for details. TV is brand new in unopened box.

The price difference between a 26 and a 32 is almost nothing these days, and the extra inches will not be wasted, no matter how big you think it looks now. Once you get it home, the 26 will be too small within a week.

Don't forget a 26" doesn't have the vertical height of an equivalent CRT, so though they are wider they are not as tall which IMO makes them look smaller.

Thanks for the feedback guys. If i get a 32" i'm gonna go for the Sony D series.

Diesel, i had the same thoughts as your comments re the 26" being too small. The tv will be 1m from the side of the bed (missus side).

Domane had a sale the other day with LG 26inchers for $689. I tryed to post but the forum wouldnt load up for me.

I was going to buy one for my parents cause the space they cant fit any larger. The issue i have with the 26inchers is they seam to be the most exspensive for size on the market.

I put a 42inch in our bedroom, and at first i kept saying to the misses how much im a idiot for going so big, but after a week i agreed its a good size, so maybe a 32inch might seem large at first but could be the best size?
