Best Price For Sony Bravia Kdl40w3100

Anyone purchased one of these sets lately who can advise me on price ? (Found an old thread about this but nothing current?)

I have been qouted $2840 at Harvey Norman and another $120 for a HDMI cable and $300 for extended warranty, are these prices any good ?

Anyone know anywhere else or how I can get these prices down ?

Try that link, seems to be a bit cheaper on there, there is a whole thread dedicated to HDTV prices.

I would definitely wait until JB have their next promotion. I noticed last time they had 10% of their TVs that the Sony 46" (not the 40") Bravia X Series came down to about $2950 after the $300 cash back. This would be about the best deal around and if you wait another month or two given JB's sale cycles and the strength of our dollar I'm sure you'll be able to get the same deal if not better.

If you're after the 40" because of space limitations I'm sure you could do a much better deal with JB than that you've negotiated with Harvey Norman.
