Hi All,

I have decided that with my difficult room accoustics, I really want an AVR with multi position audussey capabilities and thus am selling my 3 month old Yamaha 1800B.

I am really enjoying the clean and neutral Yamaha sound, but just want more than the 1 position YPAO EQ facility. It has performed beautifully. Team with a Panasonic BD30 like I have and it is a great system.

THIS UNIT HAS HAD IT'S FIRMWARE UPDATED AT AN OFFICIAL YAMAHA CENTER TO FIX THE DTS MASTER AUDIO BUG

Unit is in perfect condition, zero use on the power amps as it is only used as a processor.

Considering street price is $1250 ish, I am looking at $1000. Melbourne pickup only or I can bring it into the CBD. I do not have the original box anymore.

Have receipt so balance of warranty applies. Purchased in January 2008

Please let me know if you are interested.

$1k is a definite bargain for this! I have the same unit and couldn't be happier.

For some reason this unit is selling at ridiculously low street prices (i paid $1400). Dont forget its a $2000 machine, so far half price in pretty much new condition you cant do better than that!

Thanks Andre, yeah,I have been really happy with it. I think I am going for an Integra 7.8 as a pre-pro with Audussey and THX Ultra 2 processing to match my speakers

Been really happy with the Yam though and will be sad to see it go

I'm interested in buying the Yammy although I don't seem to be able to send a PM... Maybe I've been lurking for too long :-).

Duh, found it.
