I got a VP30 with ABT102, bought it 2nd hand but never really got to use it cos i just couldnt figure out how to configure it with my projector. I just bought this VP50, is this VP50 better than my vp30 with abt102 in every way possible?

No worries - congrats on the purchase. I am not 100% on the ABT 102 expansion card - but I dont *think* you will need it.

ABT102 can only be used with VP30 but what projector are you using at the moment ? If you can't get VP30 working with your projector then how you are going to get VP50 working with it ? Because the general operation of both 30 and 50 is almost the same.

I think the problem was user error, so i figured i will try again and if i still cant then i will get a professional to come in and set it up, plus i am soon getting a 50" plasma as well. You are right i may not be able to configure it but i hope i am able to this time, or even hoped perhaps the setup is a bit different and more simplified? probably not. I got a Hitachi PJ TX100 720P Projector.
