I think Hitman was great. Much better than alot of other films based on Video games. The worst one that comes into my head at the moment is Dead or Alive, man that was a **** movie. Im looking forward to the blu-ray next week! Ezy has it listed as been unrated lets hope it is!

I thought both Silent Hill and Hitman were just "okay" films. I think the only reason they might be viewed as good is that the majority of movies based on video games are, frankly, utter shite...

Compared to Alone in the Dark, House of the Dead or Bloodrayne they look almost Oscar worthy, though.

EZYDVD lists Sweeney as region B, though the master list says region-free for the UK release. Seeing there seems to be no US release coming up here I was going to buy the local one...but I'm set up for region A.

Is it likely it would be region free in the UK but not here?

I’m pretty sure that it will be a Paramount – Dreamworks release in the US (hence the delay in it being released there). Warner is releasing it to other markets. I ordered my copy from Amazon UK. Got it for a great price and it comes in a rather nice steel case.

I got my copy for $36 delivered on a pre-order price gaurantee. Whilst I’ve certainly enjoyed cheaper titles from the US Amazon site. That isn’t a bad price considering it is cheaper than you will get it here on release & the fact it’s unavailable in the US.

I guess it comes down to what one is willing to pay. Whilst I wouldn’t pay that price if it were available in the US (as it would definitely be cheaper there), I thought it was a good price considering the factors, so ordered it along with I, Robot.

i think that is good price when bluray sell for $40-$50 dollar here. i personal will buy from jbhifis when both hitman and sweeney todds come out because of buy 2 get 1 free primotion.
