I'm on this list (Spong2) and I'm still interested. However, I have an HD-A30 not an EP30. There maybe a few others incorrectly categorised in that list I think, for example I believe nmeli15 like me has an HD-A30.

Hddvduser, can we please have some clarity on who's being served first, or only EP30 owners? Can we all be handled together to speed up the process?

That's great news, keep me on the list, and I guess the list can be expanded somewhat to it's original size if it only contains users who "mentioned" EP30. I'm assuming A30/ EP30 use same modified firmware and A35/EP35 use same modified firmware?

Yep....I only listed those who actually mentioned the EP30/A30. A lot of people just said "add me to the list".........and others mentioned both players (I added them). Twas a barrel of laughs trawling through the old threads..........

I can imagine trawling through those threads would have driven a normal man totally mad. You're definitely one of the best TBF, especially with all you have on your plate at the moment.

As this is a new thread, and the two previous ones were closed, I'm guessing it may take some time to draw attention back to this project, unless it's possible to bulk PM those on the list. Some of these people may never know what's in store otherwise.

OK folks, I've sent hddvduser a test payment and as a small thank you from me personally for all he's done. It'll take about 3 to 5 banking days before he can tell me if he's received it or not. I also thought this might help reassure anyone with doubts. Cheers. Or maybe it's time for beers again......

If any one knows of any members of the list in post 2 for the A30 /EP30 firmware pm them today and ask them to call down here to arrange payment and then the release of the firmware.

The sooner all have made payment the sooner the firmware will be released.

Hopefully, HD will accept paypal, as I can't do a bank transfer direct to an Aussie bank account...British banks are wankers. They'll charge me £20 on top for the pleasure of doing an international bank transfer.

I'd forgotten that British banks are moneygrabbers when it comes to bank transfers. I've gotten used to transferring money like this on continental Europe were it's no big deal and generally free or the charge nominal. Cheers.
