CCF Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 A friend of mine in Queensland mentioned that he heard a rumour that people are watching Foxtel via the internet I can't think of a logical explanation other then maybe having a tv capture card installed and just using their pc monitor, but he insists that they don't even have a Foxtel decoder. Foxtel trial of IPTV maybe? Someone relaying the Foxtel signals through the web? Someone having me on? Anyone heard anything about this?
mtv Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Perhaps it's Foxtel via Bigpond... for mobile phones? This is via the internet, but not for reception via a PC.

loony Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 I dont remember what the thing is called however could it be one of the things which connect to your STB and then to the internet allowing you to watch tv from anywhere. An IR extender allows control of the STU. Sorry i have totally forgotten what they are called. Someone should know what i am talking about...I hope
