Hi,

Just got foxtel satellite installed and have the twin black cables running underneath and along my low type bed . The cable runs from where my head sleep to my feet.

This might sounds stupid but could this be bad for me as I am sleeping about 30cm away from the black cables?

No, not unless you are a very light sleeper, roll off the bed, roll against the wall and become entangled in the cable and get strangled by it.

if you have Foxtel in your bedroom it looks like you also sleep too close to TV which is can be bad and if you have TV, you should have power points which is even worse ..

Seriously, take the red pill, wake up naked in a fluid filled pod, and disconnect yourself from the matrix... B)

While the signals are high freq, the volts on that is tiny. Shielding on the cable to keep other signals from getting in also stop the signal leaking out.

As others said - Id be more worried about a bunch of other things.

Probably worst is - do you have an electric blanket??

As you can see from the responses, the answer is NO, the Foxtel cables will not have any radiation that will harm you.

I agree, that an electric blanket is a far greater risk, especially sleeping on one when it's turned on, which you should never do.
