Yes same here on most receivers.

Just about to post myself.

Seems to have happenned first on sunday night for me here in Chisholm.

I have a number of pvrs/stbs which all but one cant get abc channel 59 any longer. Ironically one of tvs annalogue tuners was picking up abc ok using the same anntenna as the pvr that cant get a signal using its digital tuner.

All other channels are fine.

I have a fairly unusaul system of many inside attennas though.

It apperas the signal is now so weak most cant pick up.

any ideas

I have problems watching and recording ABC 1 & 2 on my Pioneer DVR 550 HX. The picture freezes every minute or so and then kicks back in, not at the spot where it froze but where the show would be at if the picture hadn't frozen. It's as though the DVR doesn't realise the picture and sound has stopped. It's annoying enough with the picture and sound freeze, and even more so when I miss 7 or 8 seconds of show every minute or so! I'm in Higgins if that makes any difference.

I have retuned the DVR several times and it makes no difference.

I don't have this problem wactching or recording on any other channel, nor do I have the problem watching ABC 1 and 2 on my set top box, only when watching it through the DVR.

Any ideas on what could be causing it, or any fixes, or do I just have a dud unit that I should return to the store while it's still under warranty?

Cheers

Yaablett.

I have a similar problem with my Pioneer 508xda. Sometimes when I try to switch to ABC or ABCHD or ABC2 from another channel it just pops up a warning that "No Signal Found". And the screen stays black for up to 2 minutes. THen it shows the program perfectly with 100% signal strength!

Other times it seems to be fine.

All the ABC channels tune in perfectly all the time on my SONY SD recorder...

The Pioneer people, of course, try to say it must be because I don't have an external 'digital' aerial...

I have an external aerial that's analog, but live in line of sight to Black Mountain tower.

cheers
