not 100% on the weight of them, they aren't very light, but i can put them on the scales tomorrow and let you know for sure

LukeF they weight 10.1 kilos each so 20.2 kilos for the pair plus box

yamapro, they will work with any other boockshelf speaker also, just won't be able to scre them in if the holes don't line up

a new top plate can be made up easily enough if your looking to mate them with a diffrent set of bookshelves. this is what i did when i modified my B&W 600nt stands to suit floorstanders.
