DrP
Japanese - probably never seen a real blade of grass, let alone a poodle! Anyway, the NZers still have plenty of sheep left > Sheep

DrP
Ah, so New LTD's 'journalists' are up to their usual standard of not even performing the most rudimentary investigation into the articles they submit.
BribieG
The clue to this being an Urban Myth is that none of the media sources actually has a photo of the 'sheep' in question. Yesterday in the lunch room at work I asked a few people "hey have you heard about the poodle scam" and they all gushed forth effusively about it! When urban myths first started about 10 thousand years ago - until recently - it would probably take a few years or decades for the particular myth to spread to the ends of the empire or kingdom "hey, have you heard about this person who is actually the son of God"..... Now it only takes 2 days! Only in the 21st century, hay. (I suppose the logical extension of this is that in ten years time urban myths will only last for about seven seconds)
