des Posted April 24, 2007 Author Posted April 24, 2007 Working fine in Sydney. Is it normal HD with logo?
digitalj Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Is it normal HD with logo? I Checked on My SD STB, I'm getting audio on 12, but obviously no picture, I thought you meant 12 disappeared.
LBM Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Typical Ten isn't it - just as I was saying to you the other day. They really have a lot of work to get back to where they were a few weeks back.
des Posted April 24, 2007 Author Posted April 24, 2007 They really should go back to the old way SD playout and the old HD playout, the new way just seems to cause alot of issues.
anthonysimilion Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 NCIS is an SD upconvert here in Perth tonight.
SSS_Hoon Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 how the hell do you know if its up converted or down converted? is it another needing it in the pc card thing? SSS_Hoon
Sambo90 Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 how the hell do you know if its up converted or down converted?is it another needing it in the pc card thing? SSS_Hoon Well if the picture quality is **** is a good start. You should be able to tell if it's true HD by having seen a previous program before.
SSS_Hoon Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 well i have only had the HDTV up for a few days now and anything is better then my old CRT tv so yeah. I have a info button on my tv but it only says that its 1080i not the other one wether it 1440 or 1920... SSS_Hoon
digitalj Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 If you can't see a difference between SD and HD channels, it's upconverted, if HD looks a lot better than SD, it's native HD.
