liveonimpulse Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Hi guys I have the envious task of testing a few full HD commercial displays. Just wanted some info on what else to test other than the standard 1920x1080 bitmaps. How best to check for contrasts and brightness and other aspects. These are without TV tuners and will never be used for gaming etc, just as information Displays. any help will be much appreciated Regards Manu
Coopers Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 I know this is an old topic, but I can't seem to create new ones in this forum? I should be receiving my Samsung PS50Q91HDX today. I was wondering what are some good tests I can do to make sure everything is working as it should be?
Scalpel Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 I know this is an old topic, but I can't seem to create new ones in this forum? Try reading the pinned thread in the "DTV Forum Australia > Miscellaneous > Suggestions, Help and Forum Announcements" (I Can't Make A New Thread Or Send A Personal Message?!?)" section I should be receiving my Samsung PS50Q91HDX today. I was wondering what are some good tests I can do to make sure everything is working as it should be? To calibrate the panel you could use "Digital Video Essentials" DVD (or the new HD version), or you could use a PC and google "screen calibration" and look for some test screens. J.
