Logical running a business you want to keep your costs down as much as possible and make the most money.

If that means creating a whole new format and having royalties paid to me, then so be it.

and a very good reason not to buy the product. Product designed to the bottom line verses a product made for the markets needs/wants.

It like what they say in the military "Remember your weapon that you depend on for your life was made by the lowest bidder".

Sony's desire to be king has led to an unfinished overpriced product being foisted on the public and then they have used the PS3 as a vehicle to dupe consumers into this format.

Sure it has potential, but not until they finish it and in the meantime HD DVD kicks it's butt up and down the street in terms of features, functionality and price and despite Blu-rays apparent superiority gives just as good picture and audio (and in some cases better).

Attach rates just go to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that even blu-ray owners are less than impressed than their HD DVD counterparts despite the supposed "content advantage".

Brilliant finale, im pissed I read the spoilers before it aired!!!!

But yes the humans on the show are just as messed up, Adama has skeletons in the Closet, Kara thrace is messed up although reborn in the end, Tigh is an alcaholic, Apollo cant keep a marriage together, The president is terminally ill, Baltar is a sociopath, Helo is a wimp, Sharon is a cylon, Cally in a lippy ****, Dee is a sook, the Galactica is pretty banged up.

The cylons on the other hand are the superior but clueless violent children of humanity without a purpose and their capital ships seem to lack point defences....and worse 6 of them dont even know who the other 5 are? 1 does and now she's in box land.

ALl Along the watchtower, now read up some interpretations of the song, some people reckon its to do with Jesus or something, either way the producers purposely picked that song for an important reason which will be revealed in season 4.

They claim it on the basis of apparent higher bandwidth specifications hence more potential channels of higher than HD DVD quality audio for one thing. Problem is the specs for movies on both formats are identical so studios will probably never encode to such high bandwidths in this generation of optical media.

Well universal have apparenly announced BSG on HD-DVD but that was in 2006!

September is the release date for Season 3 on DVD in europe.

All I know from what I read is that All ALong the Watchtower is very relevant and was chosen very specifically by Ronald D Moore himself, the U2 version is good I was playing in the car on the way to melbourne today.

The pegasus movie will be interesting especially since it will tie into Season 4 but will be a prequel to Season 2 even.

Im excited!!!
