AVROM Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Hi All, I don't know if I'll get into trouble for this but the company that I work for has nice home theatre seating. There are pcitures at www.serenityav.com.au Sorry if I'm breaking the rules. I'm not selling anything just trying to help out. Thanks.
Hydrology Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Sorry if I'm breaking the rules.I'm not selling anything just trying to help out. Thanks. Have a read of the rules you agreed to - you may find you know its not allowed.
AVROM Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Actually, i did just read the rules and what I did is allowed. You're allowed to share pricing and information as long as it's in the correct area and you're not just posting it for no reason.

Except that what you are doing is posting these prices for your or your companies gain and that is not allowed, if you want to advertise on this forum pay for it like others do.

Ok, I only did that once and I honestly don't see those rules in the guidelines. But now that I know it's frowned upon, I won't do it again.

There are quite a few of us members here who work in the industry. However we respet the forum rules and guidelines and dont advertise our business here. Paying for advertising space is another thing entirely - such as EzyHD at the top of this page.

AVROM Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Unfortunately for you, you made the mistake of being too honest of your "place of work"!And your username selection didnt help either Well I am an honest person Let's talk about other things.
50mxe20 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Well I am an honest person Let's talk about other things. OK, welcome aboard.
AVROM Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 (edited) OK, welcome aboard. Thanks Lyle. Now if only I could afford D-Box, that would be the home theatre seating I would go for. Otherwise, there are a few more affordable brand that have been mentioned here plus solarahome and elysium seating. Harvey Norman's stuff is ok but very expensive. just my opinion. I'm in perth as well and at harvey's in malaga, they were having some specials a few weeks ago, not sure if it's still on. Edited July 30, 2008 by SerenityAV

larry42 Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 (edited) serenity-thanks for the info and the site link..pity it doesn't have any prices for the furniture on it..you should mention that to the boss. it's just that malaga is a bit far for me to travel unless i am sure the products or prices are really worth the hassle.... I hadn't heard of any of the brands of the recliner chairs on the site though.... Edited August 1, 2008 by larry

AVROM Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 The chairs do look nice, and Ive heard of them before. Thanks mark. Yeah, they're quite popular in the american market, along with elite screens, but not many people have heard of them here. All you need to do is see and feel them though and they sell themselves.
